Cartons are a type of packaging for food and beverage products for short to medium term storage. They are available in two types—shelf-stable (known as aseptic cartons) and refrigerated (known as gable top cartons). Cartons are mainly made from paperboard and thin layers of polyethylene.  With onset of new Food Packaging Rules by FSSAI, it is must for any food packaging manufacturer to ensure compliance of their packaging with FSSAI Rules to continue getting business from their customers.

Gable Top is a superior alternative to traditional cartons since it has several advantages such as convenience of transportation, storage and use and also environmental friendliness. Gable Top cartons contain about 80% paper and 20% polyethylene.
